The cerclage system is a complementary osteosynthetic method, developed mainly to successfully deal with unexpected situations and complications that may arise during both primoimplantation of total joint replacements and revision surgeries.

In the case of total hip primoimplantation:

• fissures,
• fractures of the greater trochanter,
• osteoporosis.

In revision surgeries:

• fusion of flap or flap osteotomies,
• increasing implant stability in bone weakening,
• osteoporosis,
• prevention of fracture in poor bone quality,
• fractures, fissuring of long bones (rarely).
