Heads for hip stems

Heads for cervico-capital hip are made from metal and in two versions:

• Standard CEP head diameters 38 to 56 mm in 2 mm increments (10 sizes in total).

• Biarticular heads with diameters from 42 to 56 mm with 2 mm spacing (8 sizes).

• The heads are made of stainless steel. The biarticular head has a liner made of high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) which is inserted between the surface metal shell and the inner head.

• The heads are polished to a mirror shine.

Heads for otal hip are made from metal or ceramic:

• Metal heads available in four diameters 22, 28, 32 and 36 mm with different cone depths for each size:

• head 22 mm – cone depth M, L

• head 28 mm – cone depth S, M, L, XL, XXL

• head 32 mm – cone depth S, M, L, XL, XXL

• head 36 mm – cone depth S, M, L, XL, XXL

• The metal heads are manufactured from stainless steel and  cobalt alloy CoCrMo. All heads are mirror polished.
