The third most used cemented stemin Europe. The most used type of endoprosthesis in the Czech Republic.
Its production began in the former POLDI Kladno plant as early as 1972. Since then, it has become the most used hip joint replacement in domestic orthopaedic departments and more than 250 thousand of these endoprostheses have been successfully implanted so far.
Implant characteristics:
Made from nitrogen steel and compared to implants made of stainless steel, it achieves higher strength and has 3 times the tensile strength.
Cone neck 12/14 (Euro cone) with embossed surface, which can be fitted with ceramic head.
5th generation - over 250,000 implantations, an unequivocal declaration of the quality and reliability of this implant.
Stem of relatively small size, also suitable for minimally invasive operations.
